When I returned from my freshman year of college I was completely out of shape. Since I played soccer at an East Coast D-1 school in the fall of 2004, and had to recover from knee surgery during my 2005 spring season, I foresaw a long and hopeless summer of training ahead. But, after training with Toddy for just over a month, I’m back to my pre-freshman year weight (i.e. I lost my Freshman 15), and I’m strong as ever.

Toddy’s workouts included a variety of low weight, high rep training, explosive ply metric exercises, and running drills that increased my strength and speed. Not to mention, I am now officially a master at jump-roping! After hard work, commitment, and focus I was able to increase my strength without bulking up (which slowed me down in college) and increase my quickness by a solid few steps as well. I now feel fit, healthy, strong, and trim and ready for my grueling pre-season ahead.

Toddy really knows what he’s doing and is a joy to train with. He keeps things intense but fun and light-hearted at the same time. I’ve always looked forward to workouts with him because with every session I feel better and better about myself and I have a great time doing it. Toddy is very encouraging and helps push me to work my hardest 100% of the time. I’ve also learned to approach working out with an optimistic and determined attitude day in and day out!

I have paid personal trainers, speed coaches, nutritionists as well as coaches to try and teach me to be a better lacrosse player but TNT is the best athlete directed workout I have been apart of. They are elite athletes training other athletes for specific sports. The combination of professional lacrosse advice and weight training I have learned has brought me from struggling to make the high school team to playing in college on scholarship.

Before TNT, I did what my football coaches told me to do; I practiced heavy Olympic lifts and straight sprints like forty yard dashes but when I started a lacrosse directed program, I realized that most of my efforts were getting wasted because I still did not have the right kind of strength. I went into the program thinking that my stick skills were not up to par but after three sessions I could see that my footwork was the main problem. After all this time lifting heavy had left me with limited mobility laterally. After correcting that my senior year and improving my lacrosse fundamentals I was given the opportunity to get a college education paid for by top universities.

Since then and after playing at the NCAA level I can say that the sport specific training from TNT is the difference between being an average player and one that stands out. In order to be successful in any sport one has to be better than average and TNT got me that edge.

TNT LAX is great, Toddy is the man and one of the best coaches in the game of lacrosse. Toddy offers some of the hardest but most effective workouts you will ever have. TNT is hands down, the best training program you will find around that combines strength and speed with individual and team lacrosse skills.

I would recommend TNT to anyone of all ages that wants to increase their speed and strength as well becoming the best lacrosse player they can be. If you have the right attitude there is no doubt that TNT will get your athleticism and lacrosse skills to where you want them to be. I couldn't have gotten to the level of play im at now without the help of Toddy and TNT.
